Baselworld (21–26 March 2019) is the world’s foremost watch and jewellery show. It interconnects the planet’s most significant watch and jewellery brands, the most influential media, and the industry’s most important purchasers. In 2019, the show will be more exciting, more entertaining and more accessible than ever. In Hall 1.0, where the industry’s most prestigious watch brands preside, a new “Central Plaza” will feature tantalising restaurants, rest areas, meeting spaces, and not least the new media centre. “Les Ateliers,” featuring independent watchmakers showcasing the intricate art and craft of watchmaking that has found a firm place in the hearts and minds of exhibitors and visitors alike, can now be also found in Hall 1.0 . A “Show Plaza” will be the highlight in Hall 1.2, which will host most of the jewellery brands. Fashion and jewellery catwalk events will be held here three times a day on a 240° stage. Hall 1.1 will likewise have a lounge, bar and restaurant area called “The Loop”. An innovative news chatbot keeps visitors up to date on all the news and innovations to be seen at the show.
