JUNGE changes its name to Pöhlmann-Bresan

A newly established Dresden-based independent watch brand previously known as JUNGE changes its name to Pöhlmann-Bresan.

"Herewith we would like to inform you that we will change our watch brand "JUNGE Uhrmacher" into "PÖHLMANN-BRESAN". Thus all our watches will carry this name. The new name is composed of the family names of the brand founders (Lukas) Pöhlmann and (Josef) Bresan. With this we follow the tradition of other well known watch brands and create a better connection between us as watchmakers and our handmade watches."

"Instead, we want to emphasize that by using our family names, we create a better connection between us as founders and watchmakers and our watches. The special thing about small independent watch brands is that you can actually meet and get to know the creators of the watches in person. When we make our watches with an extreme amount of handwork, a part of ourselves goes into the watch. And with our two names on the dial, that's further emphasized."
