Prestigious design awards for Sinn Spezialuhren

One of Sinn Spezialuhren's fundamental convictions is that the design of its timepieces is consistently geared towards functionality and the required purpose. The many awards that selected SINN watches have received in the past show that high design quality and uncompromising functionality are not mutually exclusive, but in fact mutually dependent. 

Starting with the EZM 12, a mission timer developed for the air rescue service. This watch received the Red Dot Award in 2019 and the German Design Award in 2020 - also because the special features for emergency medicine were implemented in a convincingly functional way in this watch. Three recent awards for SINN watches continue this line and are further confirmation of the principles Sinn Spezialuhren uses to develop and design its timepieces.

Model 356 PILOT Classic W: Red Dot Award 2024 in the Product Design category

The outstanding quality and design of the model 356 PILOT Classic W convinced the international jury of experts. The classic chronograph with bicompax display and black, galvanic silk-matt counter circles bears the decorative "FLIEGER KLASSIK" lettering. The dial in silk-matt white ensures timeless elegance paired with clarity.

The Red Dot Award is one of the largest design competitions in the world and a recognized award for high design quality. Only products with an outstanding design receive this seal of quality from the international jury.

Model T50 GBDR: iF Design Award 2024

For the first time, Sinn Spezialuhren uses the in-house developed bronze alloy "Goldbronze 125" for its captive safety diver's bezel. The result: the T50 GBDR model harmoniously combines robustness with refined elegance, appealing to professional divers and watch enthusiasts alike. The watch is proof of precision engineering and innovative design that guarantees both durability and aesthetics, according to the expert jury.

The iF Design Award has been an internationally recognized hallmark of design excellence since 1954. It is one of the most important design prizes in the world and is awarded once a year by the oldest independent design institution, iF International Forum Design GmbH.

Model 156.1: Excellent Product Design Award 2025 at the German Design Award

A unique combination of past and present: this is the essence of the charm of the historic pilot's chronograph 156.1 with the SINN SZ01 chronograph movement developed in-house by SINN. The timepiece features a 60-minute stop function from the dial center and a captive pilot's rotating bezel with a Black Hard Coating on a tegimented base, demonstrating its innovative character.

The German Design Award is one of the most prestigious design awards in the world and is highly regarded far beyond specialist circles. Following a demanding nomination process, only those products with demonstrably impressive design quality are admitted to the competition.
