Sinn Spezialuhren is opening a new service and assembly branch

An important step towards the future, promoting growth and further development – this is the watchword for Sinn Spezialuhren’s new branch in Dresden, with a clear focus on service provision and assembly. Enhancing the customer service operation and expanding the overall service.

From 18 May, 18th this additional site, located at “Kleine Brüdergasse 1 – 5 in Dresden”, will be managed by Nora Kumpf.

Focusing on the future, she and her deputy Martin Schwandner are both looking forward to supporting and expanding the customer service operation in Frankfurt am Main. There will also be four watchmakers working at the SINN Dresden branch. In opening this branch, Sinn Spezialuhren is seeking not only to enhance its customer service operation but also to expand the overall service. In this respect, the administrative management and processing for the customer service operations performed in Dresden will be handled through the headquarters in Frankfurt am Main.

An attractive employer for skilled workers

The aim is to progressively expand the Service Team. Hence, this progressive step towards the Saxon state capital appears to make strategic sense from this perspective as well. This is because the region is characterised by its traditional watchmaking industry and thus has a correspondingly high number of qualified specialists for whom Sinn Spezialuhren would be an attractive employer.

Dr. Robert Franke, Head of the Office for Economic Development, underlined at the opening ceremony: "Once again, a well-established company is settling in Dresden because our well-trained specialists are known far beyond the city limits. With them, Sinn Spezialuhren will write the next chapter of successful company history at the site. “

Close to SUG

Establishing the Dresden branch also makes sense for logistical reasons. After all, the Saxon watchmaking technology company Sächsische Uhrentechnologie GmbH Glashütte (SUG) is situated only about 25 kilometres away. This is where the high-quality cases are developed and manufactured for Sinn Spezialuhren. The collaborative synergies resulting from this geographical proximity alone can be utilised to benefit our customers.

The premises in Dresden do not provide for a personal reception of end customers.

Irrespective of this capacity expansion, our high-quality mechanical timepieces will continue to be developed and produced in the future at our headquarters in Frankfurt am Main. From our generously sized showrooms and sales rooms at our headquarters and at our Römerberg branch, customers will be able to purchase their SINN watch directly or seek advice from our customer service team.
