A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1 Daymatic Tokyo Boutique Limited Edition

To celebrate 10 years since the inauguration of its exclusive Boutique in Tokyo's Ginza district, A. Lange & Söhne created a 20-piece limited edition of the Lange 1 Daymatic.

Framed by a white gold case measuring 39.5mm x 10.2mm, the argenté dial is characterized by an outstanding guilloché finish with applied Roman numerals indices. The numerals of the outsize date display and some inscriptions on the dial nicely match the blued steel hands.

The movement is the automatic Lange in-house calibre L021.1 with 67 jewels (7 in screwed gold chatons), 21,600 vibrations per hour and a power reserve of 50 hours.

Plates and bridges are crafted from untreated German silver. It features an indexless oscillation system based on a large balance wheel with eccentric poising weights and an in-house manufactured balance spring. The efficiency of the gold rotor is enhanced by a platinum mass. The balance cock is engraved by hand making each piece unique.

Functions: time indicated in hours, minutes and subsidiary seconds with stop seconds; Lange outsize date; retrograde day-of-week display.

The A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 Daymatic Tokyo Boutique Limited Edition comes on a dark blue alligator leather strap with a white gold buckle and has a price of Yen 5,500,000 (around Euro 42,000 / US$ 52,000). alange-soehne.com
