With its warm sandy colours, the Tribute 1 Sandstein honours Armin Strom’s hometown of Burgdorf in the canton of Bern, Switzerland. The native Burgdorf sandstone - long a symbol of strength, timelessness and a defining element of the region’s architecture - now inspires this refined interpretation of the Tribute 1. The off-centre sand-toned dial, adorned with a grain d’orge guilloché pattern and Roman numerals, is complemented by a frosted subdial, creating a harmonious composition. A matching Alcantara strap provides the finishing touch. Encased in a slender 38 mm stainless steel case with alternating brushed and polished finishes, the Sandstein introduces a grounded yet elegant character to the Tribute 1 collection.

AMW21: Holding Time for 100 hours

Inside beats the in-house Caliber AMW21, a manual-winding movement that embodies Armin Strom’s pursuit of mechanical elegance. Delivering an impressive 100 hours of power reserve, it ensures reliability and consistency in daily wear. The visible motor barrel, held by a mirror polished finger bridge, adds a technical touch to the dial side giving the Tribute 1 Sandstein a distinctly modern character while staying true to traditional Swiss watchmaking values.

Decoration That Defines the Difference.

Through the sapphire crystal on both sides, the movement reveals the craft of Armin Strom’s hand-finishing. Hand-bevelled bridges with polished and matte surfaces, together with black-polished screws, highlight the detail, while Geneva stripes and circular graining enrich the movement. Each Tribute 1 Sandstein is assembled twice, a hallmark of the brand’s commitment to mechanical precision and aesthetic integrity.
