With the FVF2 Time & Day, Atelier FVF embarks on a transformative journey. This timepiece is a harmonious fusion of classic elegance and modern innovation, a tribute to Franc Vila's visionary design ethos.

Beyond a simple watch, the FVF2 is a statement of timeless artistry and technical mastery.

The Concept

The FVF2 represents the dress watch with a bold yet understated approach. It combines a lightweight titanium strong Unibody construction with a sleek, neo-classical aesthetic, creating a timepiece that is as elegant as it is innovative. The aesthetic pays homage to the past while embracing contemporary technical expertise and design codes

The FVF2 marks the start of our new Collection Intrepido, a line dedicated to traditional yet sportive timepieces .

Design Highlights

The design of the watch is inspired by the sophisticated chronometers of traditional Geneva watchmaking. The round Unibody structure: plate acting as middle case, features screwed in, subtly asymmetrical lugs, with the crown and pusher on the left. The Unibody structure, bezel, back and the lugs are crafted from Grade 5 titanium, a lightweight, very rigid and highly corrosion resistant alloy, ideal for a reliable, contemporary watch.

To inaugurate the release of the FVF2, a special edition, limited to eight pieces, will feature a light blue dial and Platinum bezel.

The dial draws inspiration from the historic sector dial, featuring an innovative dual-layer construction with a grade 5 titanium base, topped by an 18-carat gold dial. The dial is then carved to create the elevated indexes, finished and polished. It displays the hours, minutes, seconds, as well as retrograde day of the week display, combining technical sophistication with modern aesthetics.

The reverse of the watch reveals the new in-house hand-wound FVF2 calibre, which features a sharp design and hand decoration with different finishes, including the forceful bridges and click barrel in highly demanding mirror finish steel.

Artisanal Craftsmanship

Each component of the FVF2 is meticulously finished by hand to meet the highest standards of Geneva traditional High Watchmaking decorations.

From polished inward angles, flawlessly finished wheels, pinions, and screws, to hand engraving, black polishing and micro-stippling.

The finishing and assembly of each component is carried out by our highly experienced watchmakers, ensuring both excellence and traditional values.

The Movement

The FVF2 Caliber is a hand-wound movement that reflects the heritage of classical watchmaking and artisanal craftsmanship, fused with contemporary artistry and engineering.
