Baltic x Peter Auto Tricompax

In the field of historic motor racing, Peter Auto is a reference. The events organized by Patrick Peter’s team, in France as well as in Europe, are amongst the most exceptional to participate in. Bringing together the best drivers at the wheel of some of the most beautiful cars in the world, their events are the holy grail for any motor racing enthusiast.

It is with great pleasure that we present our new special edition: the Tricompax Baltic x Peter Auto. Designed in partnership with Peter Auto, our first three-counter chronograph will be released on the 26th of August at 4pm (Paris time) and will be limited to 300 pieces, all numbered.

Inspired by the golden age of motor racing

Between tradition and modernity, the Tricompax is a watch inspired by the golden age of motor racing. The three-counter chronograph has been the watch of choice of the greatest legends and most sensational racers in the sport since the 1960s.

Amongst the nods to motorsport: the tachymeter scale bezel designed to measure speeds up to 200 km/h and two colors recalling the intensity of the competition. The second hand, the minute counter and its hand are adorned with orange, while the hour register and its hand are yellow. 

A Swiss movement offering 63 hours of power reserve 

This chronograph represents the beginning of an important chapter for us. For this watch, we have chosen the Sellita SW-510M, a Swiss hand-wound mechanical movement, perfectly in the spirit of our chronograph. With over 60 hours of power reserve, this complication movement is known for its exemplary quality and reliability.

A duo of flyback stopwatches

Once an essential accessory for any racer or team member, stopwatches play an important role in every race weekend, allowing to measure and compare lap times on the track, or special stage times in rallying. 

Inspired by the design of the Tricompax, this pair of chronographs is perfectly adapted to a sporting use thanks to its «flyback» function. This complication, allowing the reset and the start of a new count simultaneously, is ideal for car racing.

A flat link bracelet inspired by the 70's

To stay in the sporty and vintage spirit of this chronograph, we chose to develop a comfortable metal bracelet inspired by the 70s. This «flat link» perfectly follows the curve of the wrist thanks to its fine and flexible links, while its polished and brushed finish allows to combine elegance and sportiness.

Easily adjustable thanks to its many independent links and micro-adjustments, simple to attach and detach from the watch, it is the ideal accessory to get into the mood of race weekends.

A box specially designed for the collaboration

More than just a watch, this collaboration with Peter Auto represents our vision of a union between motor racing and watchmaking. As much as glory and victory, gentleman-drivers come for an experience, which must be unique. It is this experience that we wanted to offer.

In its case, the Tricompax is accompanied by several accessories that recall the parallels with motor sports. The two stopwatches are set on an anodized aluminum plate from CarBone Liveries, ideal for integrating them into your dashboard. The flat link strap, supplied with a specific screwdriver for adjustment, can be changed with the taupe colored calf leather strap.

The special edition Tricompax Baltic x Peter Auto will be online on baltic-watches.com on August 18th at 4pm (Paris time) and put on sale on August 26th at 4pm at the price of 1975€ (without VAT), limited to 300 units.

The set includes the Tricompax on a flat link bracelet, two stopwatches on a holder, a leather strap, a screwdriver, a pump driver, the international warranty and a booklet presenting the behind-the-scenes video shooting.

Assembled in France

All our watches are hand assembled, adjusted and tested in France, near Besançon, by professional and experienced watchmakers.
