Bremont Altitude Collection 2025

Introducing a new era in Bremont aviation watches - the Altitude Collection

Since Bremont was founded in 2002, the drama and wonder of aviation have been at the heart of its story, and of its products. Its pilot’s watches, robustly engineered and rooted in aviation heritage, have earned the trust of military and civilian fliers, adventurers, collectors and enthusiasts. None more so than the MB series, specifically designed to withstand the punishing procedures used in testing aircraft ejection seats.

In 2025, Bremont proudly builds on this legacy by introducing new models into the Altitude Collection, comprised of high-performance pilot’s watches that extend the redoubtable qualities and style of the MB. The Altitude collection, alongside the Terra Nova and Supermarine collections embody Bremont’s mission to create supremely capable tool watches for air, land and sea.

At the forefront of the new introductions for 2025 is the Altitude MB Meteor, a dynamic new iteration of the MB concept: refined, upgraded and streamlined, while retaining the features that have defined celebrated MB models for 16 years.

Complementing this flagship model, the Altitude 39 Date and the Altitude Chronograph GMT are built on the characteristics of extreme durability, shock resistance and anti-magnetism while broadening the collection’s, utility, flair and appeal.

Enhanced with cutting-edge materials, new movements and sophisticated bracelets, these new introductions to the Altitude Collection embody Bremont’s enduring commitment to crafting durable modern watches of exceptional capability and design.

This year we’re returning to our heritage and celebrating what makes our brand unique. Our DNA is deeply rooted in aviation, a passion that continues to fuel our evolution. This is reinforced by the tenacity of the materials we use and the introduction of new exciting new complications to enhance and further develop the Altitude collection” comments Davide Cerrato, CEO.

The Legendary Bremont MB

In 2007 Martin-Baker, the British-based world-leader aircraft ejector seat design and manufacturer, challenged Bremont to develop a pilot’s watch capable of withstanding the extreme forces of its seat testing programme. That meant enduring live ejection testing at forces exceeding 20 Gs, extreme temperature swings from -40°C to +40°C, and dynamic crash tests. It also had to withstand violent vibrations replicating 30 years of an aircraft’s service life, rapid descent simulation from 100,000 feet in an altitude chamber, and prolonged exposure to corrosive salt fog and intense humidity.

Bremont’s answer was the MB (for ‘Martin-Baker’): a watch featuring the brand’s Trip-Tick case construction with an iconic three-part design, in which the top and bottom sandwich a knurled central barrel. Inside this capsule, a rubberised, antishock movement mount and anti-magnetic inner ring provided ultimate protection for the movement.

Famously, the MBI model was reserved exclusively for those who have experienced the reality of ejecting from an aircraft – as it still is. But its civilian counterparts, the MBII and (with a GMT) the MBIII, quickly became enduring favourites in the Bremont line-up, distinguished by their dual crowns, innovative case design, bi-directional Roto-Click inner bezel and seconds hand counterbalanced with a looped feature inspired by the pull-handle of an ejector seat. Spearheading numerous partnerships with military units worldwide, the MB line became defining pillar of the Bremont story.

With the Altitude Collection, Bremont is now building on this legacy, and taking this revered aviation tool to new heights of sophistication, performance and durability.

The Altitude MB Meteor

The most significant evolution of the MB concept to date takes its name from the Gloster Meteor, Britain’s very first jet fighter, and the aircraft used for Martin-Baker’s original live ejection test in 1946. Remarkably, two Gloster Meteors are kept by the company today, and are still used for live ejection testing.

The MB Meteor integrates frontline materials, improved ergonomics, and significant technical advancements into the MB’s dual-crown, Trip-Tick format.

Its 42mm case highlights the handsome, flowing lines of the three-part Trip-Tick design, now gently refined with a slimmer profile and reduced lug-to-lug distance, to sit perfectly on the wrist. The entire case is made in Grade 2 titanium, dramatically reducing weight while increasing durability.

This includes an iconic central barrel, originally made in anodized aluminium, with knurled titanium options in black or titanium grey with future releases to feature additional colours. A new, concave, angled bezel profile is now paired with a ‘glassbox’ sapphire crystal, striking a deft balance between modern refinement and vintage-inspired elegance.

The dual crowns – one at 2 o’clock for winding and setting, and one at 4 o’clock for operating the bi-directional inner bezel – have been optimised for ergonomics and utility, delivering a much smoother operation. The inner bezel’s Roto-Click technology has also been re-engineered, ensuring effortless and precise action with the pure, satisfying click familiar to MB owners.

This frames a dial rigorously designed for enhanced legibility, with options available in both black and brushed silver iterations. Applied numerals and indexes, along with the use of high-grade Super-LumiNova, ensure optimal visibility and clarity. The watch retains one of the MB’s most iconic features: the ‘lollipop’ seconds hand counterbalanced by a looped ‘ejection’ pull handle in white and black stripes. This has inspired new details also redolent of a military aircraft cockpit: a stencilled motif for the numerals, and a dashed line around the date window. As before, the red triangle at the heart of the dial echoes the triangular “DANGER” warning that appears on all ejector seats.

Beneath the surface, the MB line’s core endurance features once again ensure absolute toughness. The movement is suspended within a flexible rubber mount to absorb shocks and minimise impacts, while soft-iron shielding protects against powerful magnetic fields.

The MB Meteor is powered by the exceptional BB14, based on the G100 automatic movement from the specialist Swiss manufacture La Joux-Perret, which delivers a 68-hour power reserve. The MB Meteor has an open case-back, revealing the movement’s fine finishing in gunmetal grey with Geneva Stripes. Anti-magnetic shielding is provided by a soft iron ring around the movement, based on Faraday Cage principle.

For the MB Meteor, Bremont introduces a new bracelet design, crafted in brushed titanium. Featuring quick-release functionality and engineered for maximum flexibility, it is secured with curved bars that enable smooth articulation and exceptional comfort.

The MB Meteor is also available on a new, textured leather strap or an artisanal, Bremont NATO strap.

Bremont and Military

Bremont is proud to supply watches to military units across the globe. This began in 2011 with a bespoke MBII for the US Navy’s Sunliners squadron, and the range remains a popular choice for elite units worldwide, from air squadrons to infantry, naval crews to special forces.

Working in close collaboration with those who wear and cherish them, Bremont has crafted mission-ready watches for over 500 military groups and is the official luxury watch partner of His Majesty’s Armed Forces. Often classified, always exclusive, Bremont’s timepieces are built with purpose, trusted in action, and worn with pride.

Altitude 39 Date

The MB format reinterpreted as an ultra-durable tool watch for everyday wear. The dial language, case contours and impervious engineering of the MB, now incorporated in a streamlined timepiece ideal for all situations.

The 39mm Trip-Tick case, featuring a single crown, is crafted from high-grade 904L stainless steel, meaning superior corrosion resistance and strength, with a centre barrel in black DLC-coated stainless steel. The highly reliable BB14 calibre is again used, protected as ever by a shock-absorbing inner mounting and antimagnetic shielding.

Altitude Chronograph GMT

Purposeful, bold, and deeply rooted in aviation, watches combining chronograph and GMT functionality have long been a staple of Bremont’s lineup, as well as playing a key role in some of Bremont’s most successful military collaborations. As such, it was always going to be an essential part of the new Altitude collection.

For the 42mm Altitude Chronograph GMT, despite the functional complexity born from two significant complications and multiple read-outs, legibility and ease of use remain paramount. Combined with the hardiness and dependability that unites all the Altitude watches, this makes for a mission-ready timepiece that’s purpose built for exploration, travel and demanding environments.

The Trip-Tick case is made from ultra-rugged 904L stainless steel, with a black DLC-coated centre barrel. Inside, the watch is powered by the chronometerrated BC781 automatic movement, with a 62 -hour power reserve, quick-set date and GMT, and hacking seconds. As with all Altitude watches, the movement is suspended in a rubberised, shock-absorbing mounting, and ringed with soft iron anti-magnetic shielding.

Bremont Altitude Chronograph GMT

The military-inspired dial layout uses applied numerals and indexes, with high-grade Super-LumiNnova, to ensure utmost legibility, with deft twists that characterise Bremont’s detail-oriented design. The GMT hand is tipped with Bremont’s signature red arrow, read against a 24-hour day/night ring, while the running seconds display, denoted by a rotating tri-blade propeller motif, was inspired by a Bremont military project. This is also the first time that Bremont’s Wayfinder logo has appeared at 3 o’clock on a dial.

The Altitude Chronograph GMT is available comes with either a black dial, or in brushed silver with contrast finish for the chronograph subdials. It is available on the quick-release Altitude bracelet, on a nubuck leather strap or on a NATO strap.
