Bremont MBII King Charles III Limited Edition Black

In continued celebration of the coronation of his Majesty King Charles III Bremont presents a limited edition commemorative timepiece.

As we approach a truly historic weekend, and completing a unique pair of timepieces designed to mark the Coronation, Bremont announces the black edition MBII King Charles III Limited Edition.

The extremely limited white MBII King Charles III, a run of only 50 pieces, was a remarkable success selling out within a matter of hours. Bremont is pleased to present an additional commemorative timepiece in celebration of the Coronation of King Charles III. The follow-on black model is imbued with subtle nods to His Majesty and marks a truly historic occasion. 100 pieces will be made and are exclusively available through the Bremont website, Boutiques and Authorised Dealers.

Fittingly Bremont’s watches will be part of the King’s Coronation flypast display taking place this Saturday 6th May 2023, adorning the wrists of many pilots involved. As a proudly British brand, and with Bremont’s long-standing partnership with the Ministry of Defence (MOD) honouring His Majesty’s Armed Forces, the Coronation was an occasion not to be missed. Bremont has previously had the privilege of presenting prominent members of the Royal family with Bremont timepieces including Prince Philip who was the recipient of a bespoke Bremont pocket watch as part of the celebrations for the late Queen’s Jubilee in 2011. Bremont was also notably commissioned by Jaguar to create bespoke car clocks for Queen Elizabeth II’s fleet of Jaguar cars.

The MBII King Charles III black timepiece is based upon Bremont’s iconic Martin-Baker ‘MB’ range, a representation of British engineering and watchmaking at its very best. A sleek black dial is punctuated by black framed, lume-filled hands and a poignant regal purple seconds hand. A date function sits at 3 o’clock. The stainless steel Trip-Tick® case construction is complemented by a knurled black barrel and turning the watch over reveals a stainless steel closed case back elegantly engraved with the official King Charles III Coronation Emblem. The watch comes on a black calf leather strap with black stitching.

The customisable design of the MBII lends itself beautifully to private commissions where there is ample opportunity for military personnel, specialised communities and private organisations to design something to their unique requirements. As arguably the most recognisable Bremont design, the MBII was the natural timepiece of choice for this particular project.

Bremont Co-Founder Giles English comments: “As a business we’ve been hugely honoured to be the sole luxury watch manufacturer for His Majesty’s Armed Forces since 2019 and have received various Royal commissions over the years. We’re thrilled to be celebrating the Coronation with these incredibly special timepieces and it’s lovely to see how well they have been received.

Bremont has also created an exclusive commemorative coin which will be a special gift with any watch purchase for the month of May and whilst stocks last. Inspired by the concept of a traditional military challenge coin, Bremont’s Coronation Coin also features the official Coronation Emblem of HM King Charles III.
