Worn by Jim Clark and other racing heroes of the past, Gallet watches built a reputation as high-end chronograph wristwatches perfectly suited for military, industrial, auto racing, and other professional applications.

In line with the tradition, Swiss brand Gallet created the new “Heritage Edition” Auto Racing Chronograph, a robust yet elegant timepiece coming in a 40 mm stainless steel case which offers water resistance to 100 metres / 330 feet.

Hex-screw lug bars are used for extra secure strap or bracelet attachment.

The black dial is characterized by open-profile hands for unobstructed view of lower time recording gauges and red accents to enhance the sport DNA of the watch.

Engineered and built in collaboration with Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier, the new Gallet Calibre 550 movement features a low-mass 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) variable inertia balance offering more than 50 hours of power reserve thanks to a highly efficient self-winding system using a rotor with ceramic ball bearings for extreme wear resistance and twin mainspring barrels for minimal power loss during time recording functions.
