H. Moser & Cie. Pioneer Tourbillon and Centre Seconds "Arctic Blue" 40mm

H. Moser & Cie.'s highly acclaimed Pioneer line will now be available with a new 40 mm case. A true all-terrain model which can be worn on land and – thanks to its water-resistance to 12 ATM – underwater, the Pioneer model is equipped to meet all the challenges of an active life. The heart beating inside this evenly proportioned steel case is the H. Moser & Cie. HMC 200 automatic calibre on the three-hand model, while the more complicated model is equipped with the HMC 804 Manufacture movement with flying tourbillon featuring a double hairspring. Boasting a dial in shades of vibrant blue, the Pioneer Centre Seconds Arctic Blue and Pioneer Tourbillon Arctic Blue certainly won't go unnoticed.

With their impressive "Arctic Blue" dials, these two new creations from H. Moser & Cie. are a breath of fresh air. Striking and radiant, the dial features the brand logo at 12 o'clock, set in transparent lacquer for a minimalist look, like a secret signature subtly revealed. A genuine work of art, it enhances the steel case of the Pioneer Centre Seconds and Pioneer Tourbillon, previously released with a diameter of 42.8 mm, and now available in a 40 mm version, still perfectly at home on land and underwater to 12 ATM.

Ready to take on any situation, the Pioneer Tourbillon and Pioneer Centre Seconds Arctic Blue are designed for grabbing life with both hands, emphasising legibility and comfort in a contemporary understated style. In addition to their faceted applique indices topped with Super-LumiNova® dots, these models have leaf-shaped hands which are also filled with Super-LumiNova®.

At the heart of the Pioneer Tourbillon Arctic Blue beats a true marvel of ingenuity. Designed and produced inhouse by H. Moser & Cie.'s sister company, Precision Engineering AG, the HMC 804 automatic Manufacture calibre is equipped with a double hairspring. Thanks to this pair of perfectly matched hairsprings, the movement of the point of gravity on each spring when it expands is corrected, significantly improving accuracy and isochronism in continual pursuit of perfection. In addition, the paired hairsprings also reduce the effect of friction normally experienced with a single hairspring, improving isochronism.

Finally, thanks to its unique design, the tourbillon is an interchangeable module, assembled and regulated independently of the movement via a simple Plug & Play system which allows for easy servicing. The result is a tourbillon better adapted to the needs of users in an era in which we jump from work to the gym, then home to family. The Pioneer Tourbillon Arctic Blue is perfect for our modern way of life, effortlessly combining aesthetics, elegance and modernity.

As for the Pioneer Centre Seconds Arctic Blue, this piece is equipped with an HMC 200 automatic movement. Designed, developed and produced in-house, this calibre is equipped with a regulating organ, also manufactured in-house. Decorated with the famous Moser double stripes on the bridges and the main plate, housing a large engraved oscillating weight, and offering a guaranteed minimum power reserve of three days, the HMC 200 calibre is 100% Swiss, 100% Moser.

Boasting a fresh, striking look, the Pioneer Tourbillon and Pioneer Centre Seconds Arctic Blue models can be matched with a rubber, textile or leather strap, or a steel bracelet, making them the perfect accessory for any occasion.
