H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine Limited Edition Pink Livery

Following the launch of its Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine Limited Edition model a couple of weeks ago, H. Moser & Cie. is releasing a second version in pink to coincide with the 2024 Miami Grand Prix. In contrast to the dominant blue colour of the first model, this new Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine Limited Edition model is dressed in pink in tribute to the traditional second livery of the single-seater raced by H. Moser & Cie.'s partner BWT Alpine F1 Team. It is created as an extremely limited edition of 20 pieces, available exclusively online on the H. Moser & Cie website.

BWT Alpine F1 Team’s A524 will race in two liveries for the 2024 season. Both feature a black core and were inspired by contemporary artist Felipe Pantone. The main design, which will be used in 16 races, features Alpine's traditional blue colours as well as black. BWT enters the third year of title partnership with the F1 Team, which is marked by its world-renowned pink colours that feature strongly on its A524 livery. At eight races this season, the livery will be pink dominated to further underline Alpine’s strong partnership with its title partner BWT. It was therefore only natural that H. Moser & Cie.'s Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine Limited Edition model should sport the colours of both of its partner's two liveries.

While the first 100-piece series of this timepiece had blue accents, this second edition features a powerful pink. At 12 o'clock, the skeletonised main dial is topped with a small domed dial in synthetic corundum, following the curve of the sapphire crystal and sporting the signature pink colour of BWT, a bright and distinctive shade enhanced by the clarity of the synthetic corundum, or ruby, used. The synthetic corundum brings a special intensity to the Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine Limited Edition Pink Livery; although it is difficult to machine, due to its extreme hardness, its transparency truly enhances the beauty of the piece. Emanating timeless elegance, this model has no logo, emphasising its aesthetic purity and exclusivity. The indices feature Super-Luminova®, while the inserts above the blued hour and minute hands are made of Globolight®, for perfect legibility even at night. As for the strap, H. Moser & Cie. has opted for pink moulded rubber which imitates the texture of a textile strap, prioritising comfort without compromising sophistication.

The automatic calibre HMC 811 is fully skeletonised on both the front and on the reverse side, where a large openworked gold rotor can be seen oscillating. The beauty of this movement is accentuated by the lightness of the one-minute flying tourbillon fitted with a blue cage bridge matching the hands, and a cylindrical balance-spring which spins at 6 o'clock. Showcasing the expertise of H. Moser & Cie.'s sister company, Precision Engineering AG, the cylindrical balance-spring has become very difficult to produce as it requires specialist skills that have been lost. Each cylindrical balance-spring is shaped by hand, and it takes ten times as long to produce as a traditional balance-spring. H. Moser & Cie. loves to play with contrasts, and here the brand has enjoyed combining traditional expertise with an ultra-modern watch.

This powerful, sleek timepiece is spectacular yet easy to wear thanks to its compact design and water resistance to 12 ATM. It is being produced in a limited edition of 20 pieces, available exclusively on the brand's e-commerce platform. Alongside this very exclusive limited edition, the Manufacture will be producing one more piece. This watch will be sold at a charity auction with all the proceeds donated to the private non-profit foundation AQUA PEARLS, established by BWT and its CEO Andreas Weissenbacher in 2016. The foundation's overall focus is to improve the access to clean drinking water worldwide, alleviating poverty, protecting the environment and promoting sustainability.
