H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton Boutique Edition
H. Moser & Cie. is proud to announce the opening of its fourth standalone and first U.S.A. boutique, in Menlo Park, California. This new H. Moser & Cie. boutique finds its new home at The Villa Menlo Park in the heart of Silicon Valley – the iconic community long synonymous with innovation at the highest level. After Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong and the immersive Moserland concept in New York, this new address marks a key stage in the brand's development strategy. Two additional boutiques are to be opened in 2025, in New Delhi and Seoul, while a second Moserland lounge will be debuted in Hong Kong in the same year.
The Villa Menlo Park, a project developed and presented by H. Moser & Cie. retail partner Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry, proposes a new cultural hub for Silicon Valley located in the heart of Menlo Park, California. Located at 500 El Camino Real in the heart of the Bay Area, the Villa Menlo Park celebrates the rare things in life with an emphasis on discovery, craftsmanship, quiet sophistication, and enriching, curated experiences – including world-class dining and retail destinations. Faithful to its philosophy and its values, H. Moser & Cie. has created a space which embodies minimalism, refinement and authenticity.
The interior design of The Villa Menlo Park boutique is informed by a streamlined architectural concept, playing with understated lines, elevated industrial materials and carefully composed lighting. The space invites watch lovers to rediscover the very essence of the watchmaker's art, stripped of any artifice. The opening of this boutique in the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area, presented in collaboration with retail partner Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry, reflects the growing importance of the American market for H. Moser & Cie. and watchmaking industry as a whole. With this location, the brand continues to strengthen its proximity to its customers, whilst continuing its mission to celebrate traditional watchmaking in a resolutely modern setting.
We could not be happier than to have the presence of H. Moser & Cie. at The Villa Menlo Park. The brand is one of the most important forces in modern watch design and a flag bearer for independent watchmaking,” says Jared Silver, president of Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry, and a key driver of The Villa Menlo Park development.
H. Moser is rapidly growing its base of collectors in Silicon Valley, and now they will have an immersive home to experience the many different aspects of the company." On Moser side, Edouard Meylan, CEO, says: “The opening of our boutique in the San Francisco Bay Area marks a key milestone in our international development strategy. This iconic region, synonymous with innovation and creativity, perfectly embodies the values that drive H. Moser & Cie.: boldness, a pioneering spirit, and a passion for artisanal excellence."
To mark this important milestone, H. Moser & Cie. is unveiling a boutique exclusive version of its iconic Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton – revealed first at the brand’s new Silicon Valley boutique. Designed to offer unrivalled mechanical excellence and a unique visual experience, this new model marks a new step in the manufacture's quest for perfection. Limited to the brand's own boutiques and Moserland concepts, this yellow gold timepiece elevates the contemporary fluid aesthetic of the Streamliner collection whilst embodying the very essence of minimalism in the watchmaker's art.
One of the most striking characteristics of this piece is its transparency, and perfectly symmetrical design. Faithful to its philosophy of "remove to better reveal", H. Moser & Cie. has skeletonised every component, eliminating any superfluous material to enhance the stark, fascinating beauty of the mechanism. The skeletonisation process results in a refined, luminous piece, highly transparent with incredible depth that reveals all the beauty of the watch mechanism, usually hidden from view. The barrel, which has also been hollowed out, offers a view of the spring, allowing the wearer to check that it is wound correctly. You can even see through the watch to the solid gold rotor, which has also been skeletonised.
Particular attention has been paid to symmetry, ensuring the proportions are perfectly balanced. The minimalist finishes are modern, adorning the anthracite main plate and bridges with drawn strokes combined with precise bevelling. At the heart of this timepiece is a one-minute flying tourbillon which seems to float weightlessly, driven by the calibre HMC 814, an automatic movement equipped with a Straumann® double hairspring, designed and produced in-house by Precision Engineering AG. This innovation reduces friction and increases accuracy, ensuring a perfect symbiosis between aesthetics and technical performance.
The 40 mm cushion case and its integrated bracelet are both made from yellow gold and echo the signature ergonomic curves of the Streamliner collection. This pairing ensures optimal comfort and a fluid design which sits perfectly on the wrist.
With this exclusive model, the Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton Boutique Edition in yellow gold stands as a bold declaration of style, aimed at knowledgeable watch lovers who are seeking the perfect union between form and function. It will only be available in the brand's exclusive spaces and online on its sales platform. Discover it at the H. Moser & Cie. Menlo Park boutique, a new address where passion, craftsmanship and innovation come together to redefine luxury watchmaking.
