Hermès Slim d’Hermès GMT

Made from palladium, a rare and light platinum-group metal, the new Slim d’Hermès GMT offers one of the most appreciated complications by today’s globetrotter.

The ultra-thin 9.48 mm thick case reveals its slate grey display whose light and distinctive font – slim numerals with spaces between them – is revealed through a smoked glass. The diameter of the watch is 39.5 mm, an ideal size for most wrists.

A sunburst chapter ring, guilloché centre and date counter, along with a silver-toned GMT counter studded with numerals complete this Manufacture dial, swept over by slender sandblasted or blue lacquered baton-type hands.

The Slim d’Hermès GMT beats to the rhythm of the ultra-thin 3 Hz (21,600 vph) Manufacture Hermès H1950 movement measuring just 2.6 mm thick, combined with the 1.4 mm of the ultra-thin GMT module exclusively developed by Agenhor for Hermès. In addition to the hours, minutes and date function, this mechanical self-winding composition equipped with a microrotor drives a dual-time reading complete with two day/night indicators for home time and travel time. The time in a given destination is adjusted via a dedicated pushbutton at 10 o'clock.

The movement bridges, hand-chamfered and adorned with the ‘sprinkling of Hs’ motif, along with those of the module featuring Côtes de Genève and circular-graining, can be admired through the sapphire crystal case-back. The power reserve is 42 hours.

Issued in a 90-piece limited edition and completed by a matt graphite alligator strap crafted in the Hermès leather workshops, the Slim d’Hermès GMT has a price of Euro 12,000. hermes.com
