New York City — September 25, 2025 — ID Genève, the B Corp-certified Swiss watchmaker, unveiled its Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) limited-edition timepiece during Climate Week New York to spotlight the urgent work of the United Nations SDGs.

The United Nations joined the launch as ID Genève revealed the world’s first SDG timepiece at Watches of Switzerland, Soho — crafted from regenerative carbon developed by Swiss HealTech innovator ComPair — as a symbol of purpose-driven luxury and a call to action for a more sustainable and equitable world by 2030.

The Sustainable Development Goals are not just ambitions on paper — they are a practical plan to safeguard people and the planet,” said Maher Nasser, Assistant Secretary-General, Department of Global Communications, United Nations. “By embedding the SDGs into the very design of its timepiece, ID Genève shows how innovation and creativity can drive awareness and inspire action. This collaboration illustrates the power of partnership and proves that even in the world of luxury, every second can count toward building a more sustainable and equitable future.”

The design of the timepiece reinterprets the SDG color wheel on its dial, with warm gradient tones on the minute track contrasted by deep blue hour markers for optimal readability. On the case back, the SDG logo is engraved alongside a unique number from 1 to 17 — each representing one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Ownership is available exclusively by application, ensuring that each of the 17 pieces belongs to an individual who embodies a genuine commitment to the goal their timepiece represents. Priced at USD 10’500 (tax excl.), 10% of total sale will directly support initiatives advancing the SDGs.

We believe time is our most precious resource — and the way we design and produce watches should reflect the urgency of the challenges we face.” said Nicolas Freudiger, Co-founder and CEO of ID Genève.

This collaboration with ID Genève perfectly showcases our HealTech™ innovation. What we demonstrate in a watch, we scale with partners like SBB Swiss Federal Railways and 3A Mobility — designing regenerative composite train parts with lower maintenance costs and reduced waste, proving the impact of healable design across industries.” said Amael Cohades, Founder and CEO of CompPair.

More than just a collector’s item, this timepiece is a tangible commitment — a piece of watchmaking that reflects a genuine cause and lasting impact.

About ID Genève Watches

“Conviction on your wrist” – ID Genève is an award-winning luxury watchmaker that designs and manufactures 100% Swiss Made mechanical timepieces rooted in circular economy principles.

Founded in December 2020 in Geneva, Switzerland, through a virtually instantly 100%-subscribed campaign on wemake.it, a leading Swiss crowdfunding site.

ID Genève sources circular materials with a lower carbon footprint, promotes the use of reprocessed components, and offers watches that combine sophistication with sustainability, i.e 100% reprocessed steel & solar steel, refurbished mechanical movements, straps made of green waste, 100% industrially compostable materials. For instance, the innovative reprocessed steel used in ID Geneve’s latest Circular S collection is remelted in a solar furnace, resulting in a carbon footprint 165 times smaller than standard steel. Watch straps and packaging are similarly groundbreaking in their origin and manufacture.

ID Genève watches are available in showrooms in Geneva, Lausanne, and Zürich, as well as online and through Watches of Switzerland stores in London & New York. In the Middle east, they are available at Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons.

ID Genève ongoing project is the creation of a Circular Luxury Lab to spark and co-develop eco-innovative materials and processes and make them available to the industry and beyond.

Committed to the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability, ID Genève is the first Swiss made watch brand to receive the B Corp certification. It is the only certification that measures a company’s entire social and environmental performance, from the supply chain to processes employed to how the company’s operations and business model impact workers, community, environment, and customers.
