Omega - Seamaster Planet Ocean "Michael Phelps" Limited Edition

Omega presented a special edition of the Seamaster Planet Ocean dedicated to American swimming legend Michael Phelps, the most successful Olympian of all time with 28 Olympic Games medals - 23 of them gold.

Limited to just 280 pieces, the Seamaster Planet Ocean "Michael Phelps" comes in a 45.5 mm stainless steel case which guarantees water resistance to 60 bar (600 metres / 2,000 feet). The case features a uni-directional rotating bezel in polished blue ceramic, with orange rubber for the first 15 minutes.

The striking polished white ceramic dial features blued applied indexes and an Arabic numeral 12 in orange.

The screw-in, wave-pattern caseback includes a "Michael Phelps" logo etched in chronium on the sapphire crystal which reveals the column-wheel chronograph movement in action.

The self-winding Calibre 9900 is a certified Master Chronometer, approved by METAS, resistant to magnetic fields reaching 15,000 gauss. Equipped with a silicon balance-spring and the Omega Co-Axial escapement, it offers 60 hours of power reserve thanks to two barrels mounted in series.

The watch is presented on an integrated blue structured rubber strap with blue-orange rubber lining and orange stitching.

The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean "Michael Phelps" Limited Edition (ref. 215.32.46.51.04.001) has a retail price of Euro 7,500. omegawatches.com
