Sarpaneva Stardust Unique

As many of you know, the 2023 marks Sarpaneva's 20th Anniversary as an independent watchmaker. The last spring Helsinki based Studio Sarpaneva presented the Stardust and Stardust Nostromo, a limited series of 40 units in total. Needless to say that these two models were almost instantly sold out. 

Known for his stubborn character, who strictly follows his principles even in terms of sales of any particular collection, to everyone’s surprise Stepan Sarpaneva presents a unique model, one-of-a-kind, the Stardust Unique timepiece with a dial featuring Eastern Arabic numerals. 

The Stardust Unique is technically and functionally identical to the Stardust presented earlier this year, except for the dial. Each dial is unique, as titanium base plate is being fired at different temperatures using the torch, giving every dial a unique pattern. 

Unlike other collections by Sarpaneva or S.U.F. Helsinki, the Stardust Unique timepiece comes without any luminous elements. The 'Korona' case is done in brushed steel, the only polished parts here are eight dial screws, and crown at 4 o'clock. 

The Stardust Unique is driven by the Chronode P.1003 calibre equipped with a "new moon" rotor is seen through the sapphire crystal case back.
