Sinn Frankfurt World Time

With three time zones on a 12- and 24-hour basis, the new Frankfurt World Time Watch produced by Sinn expands a line of watches distinguished by their connection with Frankfurt am Main, the renowned banking and stock exchange centre and the home of the watchmaking brand since 1961.

Water resistant to 100 metres / 330 feet, the model 6096 features a polished stainless-steel case with a diameter of 41.5 mm and an overall height of just 10.1 mm.

The crown at 10 o'clock makes it possible to set the third time zone by adjusting the internal rotating bezel which features the hour markers.

A sapphire crystal glass protects the black electroplated dial with sunburst decoration and rhodium-plated and luminescent appliqués that are individually attached by hand.

A sapphire glass is also used for the caseback to display the 4 Hz (28,800 vph) ETA 2893-2 self-winding movement which offers a useful seconds stop function to stop the watch movement for precise setting of the time. Shock resistant as per DIN 8308 and anti-magnetic as per DIN 8309, the movement has an autonomy of 42 hours.

The rotor engraving of the bull and bear, the traditional symbols of the stock market, is a stylish reference to Frankfurt am Main as the birthplace of this watch.

The price of the Sinn Frankfurt World Time Watch 6096, including a leather strap and a solid bracelet, is Euro 2,590. sinn.de
