The Armin Strom Gravity Equal Force Only Watch 2021

Time has never been so precise! The Gravity Equal Force is the world’s first automatic watch with constant force transmission. The result is consistent power delivery to the balance which ensures that the watch always delivers flawlessly constant precision. The timepiece is distinguished not only by its groundbreaking technology but by a design and craftsmanship that sets it apart from every other watch.

  • The movement’s black plate guilloche pattern was done by hand by renowned watchmaker Kari Voutilainen, a close friend of Armin Strom’s founders.
  • The off-center grey-toned sapphire dial – a first for the brand – offers an unobstructed view of the fascinating mechanics inside the case and emphasize the brand’s passion for transparent mechanics at the core of its design philosophy.
  • The most eye-catching features of this one-of-a-kind Gravity Equal Force timepiece are the trio of orange-coated brass bridges positioned behind the ASB19 in-house manufacture movement, the orange coated balance wheel bridge on the back of the movement and the hand-finished orange-coated stainless-steel hands that adorn the watch’s striking transparent mechanics. These orange highlights offer a striking contrast to the movement’s black plate.

Presented in a classic 41 mm stainless-steel case, the Armin Strom Only Watch 2021 comes with a black fabric strap with orange stitching, sublimely reflecting the watch’s color scheme which gives the watch a sporty yet classy touch.

The Armin Strom Only Watch 2021: the ultimate limited edition

This special version of the Gravity Equal Force – produced in the ultimate limited edition of one – was designed and produced in-house at the brand’s manufacture in Biel. Like every Armin Strom watch, its movement has been assembled twice. After its first assembly, the movement was painstakingly disassembled and each individual part was cleaned, dried, reassembled and lubricated before being meticulously regulated, tested, and returned to the case.

It is gratifying to be a part of something that brings so many great watch brands together. For a brand like ours, which focuses on innovative industry-challenging watches every day, we enjoy challenging ourselves to create something that is worthy of the Only Watch name.

says Armin Strom’s co-founder, Serge Michel, about the brand’s fifth consecutive participation in Only Watch
