The Edox Automatic Chronograph Carbon

The Edox CO-1 Carbon Chronograph Automatic is a piece with a true personality. Inspired by world's most thrilling offshore powerboat series, the CO-1 is not only a racing chronograph, but also a highly water-resistant watch. Equipped with a helium valve, a 3mm thick scratch-resistant sapphire glass, screw-down crown and pushers, this timepiece will perfectly withstand the pressure up to 500 meters below sea level.

The case is constructed around a stainless steel tank which provides the movement with high stability. This central base is then covered by case elements made out of ceramic layers forged in resin with strains of black carbon and glass fibers. This newly engineered material is much more resistant to scratches and general wear than normal carbon. It gives as well a distinctive color and texture.

The Edox Automatic Chronograph Carbon (45mm) is powered by an Edox Calibre 011 chronograph movement, based on the Sellita SW500. Equipped with a 3mm thick sapphire crystal glass and an automatic Helium valve, the robust and strong hand-assembled CO-1 Carbon Chronograph automatic is made to resist a pressure of 50 ATM, which represents a depth of 500 m.

Edox uses a newly engineered material much more resistant to scratches and general wear than normal carbon. Made of ceramic layer forged in resin with strains of black carbon and glass fibers, it gives as well a distinctive color and texture.
