Union Glashütte Belisar Chronograph

The watch brand Union Glashütte has given its sporty Belisar Chronograph a fresh look with not one but two new colours – namely, white-blue and stone grey. Yet the timepiece still retains its original charm: Large retro block numerals reminiscent of retro cars, a pulsometer, subtly domed sapphire crystal and the characteristic railway track chapter rings. At the heart of the watch beats the UNG-27.S1 movement with its silicon balance spring and a high power reserve of 65 hours.

With the two new, super urban designs, Union Glashütte is adding two fresh models to the Belisar line for a summer feeling. The white-blue Chronograph is characterised by its matt white dial with blue indices. To give the dial more depth, the numerals are lacquered to a glossy finish to stand out from the matt white of the dial. The same is true of the small second. In contrast, the pulsometer and the two totalisers are kept a maritime blue.

The dial of the second version is presented in a modern stone grey. The hands are set off with glossy black lacquer. The same is true of the small second display. The totalisers are kept white to give the dial a fresh feel. The date display at 6 o'clock is also white and blends harmoniously into the overall design. A truly eye-catching feature on both versions is the large second, which has a red point for a subtle yet striking contrast.

Both timepieces measure a total of 44 mm and feature the UNG-27.S1 movement, which is distinguished by a silicon balance spring and a high power reserve of 65 hours.

The white-blue version is complemented by a blue textile strap with white tack stitch for a stylish look, while the stone grey version has a grey rubber strap – both with changeable spring bars.

Both Chronograph variants are available at a recommended retail price of €2950.00 including VAT.
