Union Glashütte Noramis Date

Timeless elegance meets retro design – Union Glashütte adds two stylish new variants to the 1960s classic Noramis Date. The Noramis Date collection is known for its characteristic vintage elements: The heavily domed sapphire crystal, the fine bezel, the large dial and the retro indices and hands. Last year saw the launch of five colourful classics, the colours of which were inspired by well-known classic cars. Now two more exquisite timepieces are joining the collection. Simple dials in silver and black, a minimalist design and a diameter of just 40 mm make it the ideal unisex accessory – whether for a classic-chic business outfit or a traditional and understated everyday look.

Both classic watches feature special little touches. The silver and black dials each have a subtle sunburst finish. The overall look of the timepieces is characterised by the extremely flat case. To ensure the watch still has some depth, however, the inner ring is subtly set back. The elegant lettering of the UNION brand is printed on both dial variants.

The silver version features rose gold indexes and hands, while the black version has silver ones. For even better readability, the hand has a Super-LumiNova® coating. The date is seamlessly integrated into the design of the timepiece at three o'clock. The watches are rounded off with a brown and black calfskin strap with crocodile skin effect.

The inner workings of the watch can also be admired through a glass case-back, revealing the technically sophisticated UNG-07.S1 movement with silicon balance spring, which is decorated and hand-assembled in Glashütte. The watch has a power reserve of at least 60 hours and is water-resistant to 10 bar.
