After bringing back from the archives a historically rich Grand Prix piece, Vulcain now introduces a new version of this elegant watch, named after the Grand Prix it won at the 1929 Barcelona International Exhibition. To infuse a touch of modernity while respecting Vulcain’s timeless heritage, Guillaume Laidet, who now embodies the brand, has added a small seconds feature at 6 o’clock, a function present on Vulcain models from the 1950s and 1960s, particularly the Presidents’ Chronograph. As refined and minimalist as ever, the Grand Prix Petite Seconde offers even more precise time reading.

Powered by a Swiss-made Landeron automatic movement, with a domed crystal and vintage-inspired dial, the Grand Prix appeals to aficionados of sophisticated timepieces. Its classic design and versatility gracefully complement a gentleman's wardrobe, thanks to its new dial colors. Featuring a polished steel case, the Grand Prix Petite Seconde boasts a balanced and sophisticated aesthetic. Its dial, available in Midnight Blue or Emerald Green with a semi-gloss sunburst finish, is enhanced by steel indices.

With a diameter of 39 mm and a thickness of 12.70 mm, it strikes the perfect balance. For an extra vintage touch, the Grand Prix comes equipped with a double-domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, ensuring optimal readability. It is water-resistant up to 5 ATM, highlighting its versatility for both formal and casual settings. The Grand Prix Petite Seconde is powered by the Swiss automatic movement Landeron 24S6, ensuring high precision and a 40-hour power reserve.
