F.P.Journe Ladies Golf Cup 2023

Vandoeuvres,Tuesday September 19, 2023 - The traditional F.P.Journe ladies Golf Cup was once again held at the Golf Club of Geneva. For this 9th edition, 42 participants met for this competition with a Greensome formula of play and Stableford scoring.

F.P.Journe organizes this rendez-vous every year for members of the Golf Club of Geneva at this exceptional site. Designed in 1973 by Robert Trent Jones Senior, the course is located in a beautiful green environment at the top of the Cologny hillside. The first holes offer a breathtaking view of Lake Geneva and you can even admire Mont-Blanc on the south side.

This event was also the occasion to discover the “élégante 12 rows of diamonds” watch, on a 40 mm case, with new diamond-set bracelets. The 12 links are adorned with 382 brilliant cut diamonds for a total of 3.23 ct., completed by an interchangeable rubber part.

Initially conceived for women, the élégante by F.P.Journe is a revolutionary horological concept designed with extremely precise specifications, providing this watch an autonomy of 8 to 10 years in daily use and up to 18 years in standby mode. This collection reflects the know-how of the Manufacture, which combines watchmaking innovation and jewellery refinement.

The competition ended with a cocktail reception accompanied by the Maison Laurent-Perrier, partner of the Cup, and with the awarding of the different prizes by François-Paul Journe.

This year, the gross ranking rewarded Caroline Rekik and Olsburgh Lacerda Soares. In the net ranking category A, Diane de Warlincourt and Barbara Bravo de la Fuente took first place with a score of 42. They are ahead of Michèle Wassmer and Alix Landolt. Nadine Huttman and Barbara Feldpausch-Keller finished first in the net ranking category B, followed by Rossela Berger and Frédérique Viani.
