Salon Gstaad-Art F.P.Journe

F.P.Journe was pleased to support the first edition of Gstaad-Art, a new Swiss Salon dedicated to modern art, contemporary art and design. Held from February 17 to 18 under the enchanting canopy of the Festival-Zelt, this initiative featured 20 leading international galleries, joining tenors Hauser & Wirth and Gagosian, who have a permanent presence in Gstaad.

The event also saw the launch of the "CIRCUS” series, a special exhibition curated by Piper Marshall and Kolja Gläser, with Cammisa Buerhaus and the help of X Zhu-Nowell, Artistic Director of the Shanghai Rockbund Museum. Titled "Artists' Scores, Scenarios, and Instructions", this showcase brought together nearly 60 artists, offering a unique insight into their creative process. Names such as Josh Kline, Goshka Macuga, Lawrence Weiner and Chloe Wise unveiled their creations, accompanied by prestigious galleries such as Pace, Mendes Wood and Bortolami, in a staging designed by Parisian architecture firm Roll.

Additionally, Gstaad-Art presented special projects such as the installation "La souris et le chat" by Chinese artist Wang Du, and "Green Bird from Dreamtime" by Aboriginal artist Tatali Napurrula, proposed by the Fondation Opale.

For F.P.Journe, this partnership is part of a long-standing affinity with the art world, reflecting the fundamental values of the Manufacture: Authenticity, Rarity, Talent - A.R.T. This commitment testifies to a shared passion for excellence, inventiveness and the preservation of a rich and diverse heritage. The first edition of Gstaad-Art marks the beginning of a new top-tier cultural event.
