Today, as part of its new 2025 collection, Benrus proudly reintroduces this historic model with the Type 2 MIL SPEC, a modern evolution that remains faithful to the original military blueprint while enhancing it with contemporary Swiss engineering and upgraded materials.

Inspired by the original Type 1 MIL-SPEC issued to U.S. elite forces in the 1970s, the TYPE 1 M1 modernizes this iconic design, pushing the boundaries of the MIL-SPEC aesthetic with a satin stainless steel finish case, champagne dial and the addition of the BENRUS logo - a fresh take on a battle-tested classic.

Inspired by the 1968 Benrus model worn by Steve McQueen, the #3061 GT tells its story through thoughtful details: the Highland Green dial echoes the Ford Mustang GT Fastback’s signature hue, while the textured surface hints at the city’s iconic grid.
